For smaller collections of documents, files and other records, you might opt for a mobile storage solution. For bulk storage and less frequent access requirements, however, archive document racking is the ideal option. From a small business archive to museums and data storage companies, Invicta Racking is adept at delivering efficient and cost-effective archive document storage solutions.
A successful archive document storage project has to draw from several areas. The need to store hundreds or even thousands of boxes of documents means that the archive document racking must be of an extremely high density. However, the documents must also be quickly accessible and retrievable, with the ability for individual boxes to be picked at any given time.
For larger archive document storage facilities, the available headspace is also much larger than the average warehouse or other pallet racking space. A great example is our work with DataSpace, who required an archive document storage solution across seven floor levels and 20 metres in height, which could cater to more than a million boxes.
Working with them over a number of years, we carried out a phased installation of racking that grew alongside their business. Our modular designs are extremely flexible, and can be installed, disassembled and relocated with minimal disruption to your daily operations. This includes the construction of additional levels, with lifts, staircases and walkways fulfilling a multitude of access requirements.
Invicta’s other divisions – including Durasteel Fire Protection, Mezzanine Floors and Mobile Shelving – allow us to provide a range of integrated solutions within the scope of a single project. Fire protection is a particularly crucial element of archive storage, and our ability to provide both passive fire protection and fire suppression systems is unparalleled. We also offer a range of accessories, including open space and emergency lighting, anti-collapse mesh and more.
With a broad portfolio of archive and data storage clients, and experience on all scales of projects, we’re ideally positioned to carry out your next archive document storage project.
